The Chinese Five Elements are five different types of qi (energy) that interact with each other to determine the balance of qi in nature, in our living/working environments, in our physical bodies, and in our lives.
Within your Four Pillars chart, there is one element that contributes most to your personality ~ influencing your core beliefs, attitudes, behaviour patterns and general style of being ~ with the other elements adding qualities according to their relative strength/presence within your chart.
Each element is quite different in character, and understanding the five different characters can help you to better understand yourself, your partner, your friends/colleagues, and your children.
